I, Dr Makarand Anil Rane, began my career as a doctor by completing MBBS at Rural Medical College at Pravara Institute of Medical Sciences, Loni. My hobby of thinking led my path towards becoming a physician by completing MD Internal Medicine at Smt. Kashibai Navale Medical College, Pune. Then, I gained expertise in critical care at Hiranandani Fortis Hospital, Mumbai.

Understanding the unmet need, I chose a path less travelled. During my postgraduate years, I decided to become an Obstetric Physician. No path, no guidance around; no books, no institutions to be found.
